Ajit Patel UK Wellness - How to Find Happiness with Yoga

Life can throw up so many challenges, that everything feels overwhelming. Though it’s not always easy to remain positive and keep smiling, that’s alright. There’s always hope and countless ways to find happiness in life. In Beach House Goa we provide best yoga practice in order to make you happy and peaceful. Here are a few basic tips from our yoga teacher training sessions.

Count Your Strengths

When feeling down we focus on the negative, most often our personal weaknesses. Instead identify your strengths and build on them. Utilize the chance to excel at something you enjoy. You can rebuild your self-confidence and achieve happiness.

The great outdoors can do wonders for the human spirit. Try to spend a little time outdoors each day, even if only for a 15-minute stroll. Once in a while, break out of the ordinary, take a day or weekend to visit a wildlife reserve, nature trail, or park to completely immerse you in the natural world. It can be a humbling experience and offers some greatly-needed perspective.

Be Positive (and Realistic)

Often positive thinking can be counterproductive, giving us a false idea of confidence. “Realistic Optimism” is an effective way to retain positivity. Accept that not everything is in your control. Brace yourself for the possibility that things could go wrong, and focus on how you can overcome and move forward.

There are an infinite amount of things that could go wrong in the future. Why worry about it right now? Fretting over the possible outcomes is not going to make any of them less likely to happen. Instead, focus your mind on the present moment which you can carry out and control right now. You’ll end up feeling more in control.

A sound mind requires a healthy body, so keep in shape. Get some exercise at least a few times a week. Seek daily opportunities to stay active and do so with others when possible. Gets your heart pumping? Some relaxing sessions at our yoga resort at Bali is best to boost your mood and also manage depression. Even a 20-minute stroll around the block can be a great way to clear your mind and keep you healthy.

Relationships depend on clear, consistent communication. But it isn’t a skill that all of us have, which can cause problems at home, work, and within our friends circle. Don’t try to talk around it, be straightforward and say what you need to. If you aren’t happy about something, speak up!  But be tactful. You may be surprised to find situations turn out in your favor.

Life will never be easy, free of hard times or obstacles, but with keep the above advice in mind and it wouldn’t break our spirit, but do a lot of good instead. If you still find yourself struggling with more serious issues, do not hesitate to seek support. Approach a professional or confide in a loved one and you may find the support that you need.
